I wanted somewhere genuinely local—a place where I could talk British cycling with people who understood the same roads, weather and events.
Somewhere to get advice, understand the meta, learn from other riders and feel part of a proper cycling community. I couldn't find quite the right space, so in March 2026 I started Cycle UK.
